Black Tea Facial Steam

Black Tea Facial Steam – Self Care Saturday, But Make It Tea

So it’s #selfcaresaturday and you’re not sure what to do because the bubble baths aren’t cutting it anymore. Try a black tea facial steam. This mask is great for clogged pores, tired skin or just to get that glow back. You can even use the leftover tea leaves for under-eye bags.

Black Tea Face Steam

All you need is:
  • Hot water
  • 1 tea bag or 1 tablespoon loose leave black tea (we recommend picking up some regular-shmegular black tea for this – don’t use the good stuff since you wont be drinking it!)
Instructions
  1. In a mug prepare a cup of hot tea using a black tea bag or loose-leaf tea.
  2. Let steep for several minutes, then remove tea.
  3. Once tea has cooled to the touch, soak a washcloth in the steeped tea and squeeze out excess water.
  4. Lay the wash cloth over your (clean) face and enjoy this black tea facial steam for about 10 minutes. Then rinse with warm water and follow with your favorite moisturizer.

BONUS: Puffy eyes? Cool the tea bag(s) and place a cool, damp tea bag over each eye and leave on for 10 minutes to reduce swelling.

Now enjoy that fresh faced, dewy skin feeling and let of the week melt away!
